How the prizes work
The pot is 10% of every hat burned in the round: 100,000 SANTA back for every 1,000,000 SANTA burned, the other 90% gone forever. When the Wintertodt's HP hits zero it is split: supply crates first (2% of throws win a crate worth one to two times the throw), then half to the top ten by damage on a fixed ladder (30 / 18 / 12 / 9 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 5 / 4 / 4%) and half raffled across everyone who threw at least one hat, weighted by damage, ten winners.
The raffle seed is the hash of a finalized Solana block chosen after the kill, written into the round, so nobody (us included) can pick it. Prizes are paid as holder rewards on the Ecosystem tab: winners collect them in one transfer and pay only the network fee. The hats you burn are gone from the supply forever.
Advent — 25 draws, paid in GP
From 1 December, one draw a day at 00:00 UTC, growing to the biggest on Christmas Day, the hat's 24th birthday. Every hat you hold on the Nice List is a ticket. Sixty percent to one jackpot, forty percent across ten nuggets, seeded by a Solana block hash so nobody can steer it.

The Hat Index
What one Santa hat costs, in every world it exists in. In RuneScape 3 the original 2002 hat still trades for hundreds of millions of gp. In Old School it was re-released through the Party Room in 2013 and costs about as much as a lobster dinner. On-chain, one hat is 1,000,000 $SANTA.

Wear the hat
Free on Christmas Day. Never again.
On 25 December 2002, RuneScape Classic dropped Santa hats on the ground for anyone who logged in. Nobody thought much of a red hat. Then the game never dropped them again, and within a few years a hat that had been free was worth over one hundred million gp. It became the entry ticket to the rares, the thing you bought before you could afford a partyhat, and the reason the hat still gets shouted about in every Grand Exchange.
$SANTA is that hat on-chain: a fixed supply, a 3% tax on every trade paid back to holders in $GP, and one rule that would have saved a lot of people in 2003. Don't sell the hat.
